whirlwind of events

hello out there!

I know it’s been a while since I have posted and I promise if you stay around that I will make it worth while for the summer, including some upcoming events that I am really excited about, updating with weekly style photos, and the craziness that is my life. To keep you up in the loop, I am a current Junior at Parsons for Communication Design. I have previously interned for brands such as Jeffrey Campbell and BB Dakota; and I have also previously interned for Fashion/Lifestyle PR Firm, Fingerprint Communications.  Currently I am working at Urban Outfitters(been there for a bout a year and a half), interning at Diesel, and working as a freelance designer for blogger, Audrey Kitching. I have decided to make this blog revolve around my various jobs and various looks because they all work with one another. A behind the scenes look at what I do!

so I am going to try and post as much as possible and hope you are interested in this.

for some upcoming events, I will be ending my term at Diesel and begin to intern for Rag & Bone’s Visual Team which will entail Window Displays and Sourcing for materials. Alongside with Rag & Bone, I will be interning at Betsey Johnson for their visual merchandising team. I am really excited about these and I have always been interested in the visual side for a brand.

I am really excited about some news that will be launching sometime this month! I will keep you guys posted

i am SO obsessed with these shoes i found at buffalo exchange in chelsea. they are sketchers and they were just $14, A STEAL. they are the combination of clown shoes and awesome shoes. i can’t wait to show the people at jeffrey campbell the shoes. they are just the most amazing purchase ever. i’m going to wear the death out of these! #dead

my amazing life as an intern.  this past week i went with the people at jc to some appointments in soho.  first stop: free people.  met the buyer for shoes and bags and that was an awesome experience.  I’m learning about all aspects to fashion and the steps it takes for a product to be sold and sold at retailers and such. after free people, we went to stop by seamless showroom who represents brands like luv aj and wildfox.  and i scored this AMAZING wildfox piece that retails at $108. In love and hopes for this warm weather to stop so i can wear it comfortably out.  Perfect for a lazy day in or out and about with a maxi or shorts with tights for the fall.

i am absolutely OBSESSED with this BB DAKOTA jacket for Spring 2012. it is a knock off of a Celine jacket but i think this one is amazing. I can’t wait to place my order for my internship for this jacket and many other goodies. will keep posted about my order and what new pieces i’ll be getting in.
